Dear Mr. Anderson

I am writing to request a brief extension on my least at Apt #5. My current move-out date is set for September 30 at 11:59 P.M.

Unfortunately, my new residence has experienced some cleaning delays and the property owner has recently informed me that I cannot move in until October 3. I find myself stuck for three days without a place to live or anywhere to store my furniture and other personal effects.

I would be grateful to you if there were a way that I could stay at my current unit (#5) until the third of the month.
